Keg County Moonshine, Bon Aqua Tennessee

REAL COUNTRY. REAL HISTORY.

FROM THE HILLS
NOT THE HIGHWAY.

Long before paved roads and traffic lights, the hollows around Bon Aqua had another kind of local industry. Cold spring water, Tennessee corn and miles of wooded country made the hills of Hickman County natural moonshine country.

Hidden stills worked along creeks and deep in the hollows, particularly when making whiskey was something best done out of sight. Keg County Moonshine tips its hat to that history — same country, same independent streak, considerably less running from the law.

HICKMAN COUNTY, TENNESSEE

STILLS ON BIG SPRING CREEK.

Cold spring water, Tennessee corn and miles of wooded country made the hills and creek bottoms around Bon Aqua natural moonshine country. Long before anyone called it craft spirits, making whiskey here was equal parts skill, tradition and independence.

The creeks and deep hollows offered water, cover and a little distance from anybody who might ask too many questions. Keg County Moonshine is our modern salute to that local lore — made for good stories, good company and considerably fewer reasons to run.
